Our mission is to provide the highest quality of medical care as rapidly as possible while maintaining the utmost level of professionalism and compassion for each and every patient we encounter.

Hatzolah provides a high level of pre-hospital lifesaving treatment and transport free of charge to anyone who calls , regardless of race, religion, or ethnicity. Everyone of the 30+ Hatzolah rescue workers, including Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics, Doctors, and Dispatchers is a volunteer. All first responders are EMT-B licensed and fully equipped with a trauma/oxygen bag containing a broad variety of lifesaving equipment and an AED.

Hatzolah is led by a Vaad Harabanim comprised of Rabbi Menasha Mayer, Rabbi Yakov Yissucher Heskel, Rabbi Avrrom Hersh Freidman. We are under the direct auspices and guidance of our medical director, Ken Lavelle, MD, FACEP, NR-P, BC-EMS currently acts as Board Certified Field Response Capable EMS Physician in NJ, PA, MD, DC, VA.

Our current primary coverage area includes the following cities:
Union City, Jersey City, Bayonne, Hoboken, Secaucus, West New York, North Bergen, Guttenberg and is operational 24/7/365.
